On the road again.

Rory waits till they turn out onto the road before speaking.

"So Jean, He for She here decided that we were going to wait till we picked you up to get something to eat so please tell me you're hungry" Rory says, looking over his shoulder briefly as he says it.

Myles gives Rory a look, one that says either angrily or desperately to shut up.

"Well that's sweet of ya" Jean says, obviously somewhat flattered with the gesture. And the look Mylas has drops as he realizes Rory just bought him some brownie points with a hot blonde.

"And yeah I'm hungry" Jean continues without seeing the brief exchange of looks in the front seat. "I was a dumbass and on last bus stop I only got a small coffee from a gas station instead of anything to eat"

"Feels bad don't it, well this is a standard somewhat metropolitan area, say a brand you want and we can probably get there in less than 9 minutes" Rory looks over to Myles.

"Yo Myles, I thought you were the well-mannered one here yet I don't think you told her hi" Rory says and immediately Myles looks like a deer caught in headlights.

"Hi" Myles says, doing a decent job at not sounding really awkward.

"Oh shit my bad Jean, I forget this part when I made introductions but Myles here is part parrot" Rory quips; earning a laugh from the blonde in the back. And the return of Mylas giving him a please shut stare as he was having trouble believing he had been set up to fall into such a bad joke.

Jean finishes her laugh and speaks.

"Well Judd told me all about a local pizza place, Benny's or Benjamin's or something like that"

"Oh you mean Billiam's pizza" Rory cuts in. "Yeah no wonder; the place is like a 3-minute walk from his apartment."

"Billiam? Well that's a rather interesting name." Jean response to the new info.

"Oh that's not even half of it; guy's full name is Georges Billiam Worthington Jr."

"Well ain't that a name that rolls off the tongue" Jean says sarcastically, then letting out a quiet giggle at her own joke.

A somewhat awkward quietness falls upon the trio after that and for the next 17 minutes of the drive; nobody says a word. Until Rory speaks again.

"Hey yo Jean, I hope you don't mind but with how close the pizza place is to Judd's house. I think we should just head over to the house instead of going right to the pizza place; get you all situated before heading out to get a bite" Rory looks up to the rear view mirror to get a look at Jean's reaction.

"Oh yeah no that ain't no problem" Jean replies.

"Cool cool" Rory turns his eyes back down to the road in front of him instead of the rear view mirror. Then for a moment; Rory sends a concerned glance over to Myles before looking back to the road.
