You think for a moment, while you were "asleep" you were fed information on many things, you weren't made just for the destruction of the justice league, you were made to topple countries for your creator to rule, so he gave you information on cultures from around the world, including what food they eat, a lot of it you found to be quite revolting, other stuff too complicated, but then you saw something that made your mouth water, even in cryosleep.

"Fish and Chips, salty greasy flaky, melt in your mouth Fish and Chips"

Your description was so apt the entire team looked starving in an instant.

"An English specialty huh? I think I'll join you" Batman replies

Supergirl is the first to ask, "can I come too"

You reply "Well, I certainly don't mind, I've never had food before, just nutrients poured into my system directly"

Zatanna says "hell I'm definitely coming, I've got reason to celebrate after all."

The Flash replies "yeah I'm coming, this might be the first time in ages I actually savor my meal"

Even Martian Manhunter says "I will join as well"

Left alone Wonder Woman says "I'm not gonna be the only one left out"

You all make it to the Cafeteria and make the order, a few short minutes(wow they cook efficiently) later and you all have your meals in front of you, you're the first to take a bite, you cut a piece of fish off, grab a couple of chips and put the fork in your mouth, as you bite down the taste explodes into your mind and you can't help but start laughing, supergirl asks "what's so funny, necro?" and you can only reply "it's just so damn gorgeous" as you wipe a tear from your eye, everyone takes that as a symbol to dig right in, and so they do.

Even the flash takes his time slowly chewing on it, enjoying every morsel as it goes in, he thinks back to before he was the flash and how every friday night he'd order chinese food from a different restaurant every time, because the best way to enjoy a meal is to make it a unique experience.

Even Batman smiles as he thinks about how alfred always tries to make sure he eats properly, he thinks about how he hasn't really enjoyed food since that night in the alley, yet right now this food brings back memories of his parents, not the bad ones that he usually thinks of, he casts his mind back to his birthdays when alfred would cook his favorite food for his birthday and how even though he could have any food in the world he'd still choose a cheeseburger and he would always thank Alfred and then he would thank his Father and Mother, who would never miss his birthday no matter how busy they were.

Wonder Woman finds herself thinking back to the first time she went fishing, her mother told her that if you catch the fish, it doesn't matter which fish it is, if you catch it, that is the best fish in the lake, and she was right, that day she spent over an hour waiting for the bite and when she caught it she felt full of pride and that night she cooked that fish and it was perfect, her mother was right, it you catch it, it's always the best.

J'onn tasted the fish and was reminded of the G'naar sharks his wife used to cook for him on mars, and the look of satisfaction she always had at a job well done, the pride of a loving wife... and mother.

Supergirl thinks about when she first arrived on earth and Clark showed her around Metropolis and he bought her a hot dog, she worried at first that it was actually made from dogs, clark assured her it wasn't and as she took that first bite she felt so happy she felt like flying, even though she knew very well not to, so she was content to finish the hot dog, and relish the thought of flying.

And Zatanna thought about how much her life had changed, she thought about how close she came to **** and how easy it is to forget how valuable our lives are, and that life should be lived to the fullest and here she found herself with a life dedicated to protecting others, but more than that she found herself surrounded by friends, both old and new, and simply thought "this food is damn gorgeous"
