You can't help but feel slightly proud of yourself as you go up the staircase, to the second floor, and to your English class. This is one of those few classes you share with Kelly and managed to get her out of trouble. This plan of yours might actually succeed after all. If not, you could use the locker combination and look through her things just to spite her.

Oh well.

The room is damn quiet, the only noise you're able to pick up is from Mr. Peterson writing on a few papers and some whispers spoken between Kelly and Tanya, who happens to be the one friend of Kelly that you speak to often. A somewhat good friend of yours, even though she's not technically in your 'group', she's helped you out in several occasions.

"Hey John " she said "I hear that you're some hero."

"Oh Tanya." Kelly said, looking just a little red.

"Kelly here doesn't like to admit it, but she just might have failed this course if you haven't shown up."

"Hey, it was no problem." you answer, glancing back at Kelly who gives you a smile while she's playing around with her red locks that managed to get in front of her face.

Before you know it more and more people are getting in the class. Tyson is getting in and you have no doubt in your mind that he's going to try to sit next to the girl of your dreams.

Kelly though, looks at you with that warming smile and pats on the desk next to hers.
