Nothing Happens

Lily's worries never came true and she went the rest of the day without any distractions. As it came nearer to sleep, Lily inspected her bed. It was completely bare, no bed sheet, no pillow case, no blanket. It would be a cold night for her.

As she lay on her bed she begins to wonder about what might happen during the night. Would someone take advantage of her (That one was to feed Lily's ego again). These thoughts quickly caused her to drift asleep.

Lily woke up to the sound of her fire alarm cutting through the air. Her heart was racing, she was naked and if a fire were to come and ruin her house, she would have to go outside, naked and in the view of people around the nation, thanks to the news.

She heard firetrucks and their wailing sirens outside her door. There must have been a fire. The door was broken down, she heard and heavy footsteps were approaching her room.
