Not until night

The team set up camp about ten meters away from the now amply named pit plants and are setting up tables and equipment to take samples from the pit plants.

The female of the group, plus the male guard went and took some pictures of the plants for documenting, and found one of the plants had closed, likely having trapped an animal. However it was getting late so the team left it alone, and planned on doing some research on the pit plants in the morning.

After a nice meal the team turns off the lights and go to sleep, leaving Samora to take first watch with Steven as her partner. The two of them chat about the days events and past jobs, when they notice the female scientist getting out of her tent, looking like she is in a trance. Samora orders Steven to keep back as she watches the woman walk out of the camp. Samora runs up to the girl and shakes her trying to break whatever the trance is, but to no avail, the girl just keeps walking, even shoving Samora away so she can continue her zombie march.

Samora is about to try again when she is told to stop by one of the male scientists.

"I know this is dangerous, but do not stop her, just follow and see what is going on" The scientist says. Samora, Steven, and the male scientist follow the woman till she gets to the plants, one of the red balls is pulsating...as if it is calling her to it.

"I can't let this go any further" Samora says.
