Not so easily.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!!" I let escape.

Years and water turned the key in an useless bit of rusty metal caked in decayed paper paste. I am nearly naked, stained in green water and covered in tree sap and all of that for nothing.

"Laurie watch your language! Just get the key and hurry the Bradfords are coming home , I hear their car and I don't want them to see us like that" shouted my mom.

It couldn't be worse , you could see the tree house ladder from the driveway of their house and see through the window from their son's, Ernest , room.

Ernest is one of my classmates, a tall skinny awkward nerd, he has a crush on you since he moved in the house next door. I can't let him see me like this or take a picture he could humiliate me in front of the whole school or **** me.

"Mom, the key is rusted we can't use it and I can't get down I'm all but naked , Ernest will see me!" I cried.

"I have an idea , wait up there I'll be back quickly." Said my mom while leaving the backyard towards the street.
