"See!" Valerie shouts, pointing at you. "It's like I said! Now call the police! Call them right now!"

Ms. Naylor looks thoughtfully at Valerie, obviously choosing her words carefully.

"I might have some slight reason to believe you if you hadn't been caught doing something very similar to this twice before. Now keep your mouth shut Valerie." The brunette looks at her with wide furious eyes.

"Call the police! Call them right now or I'll get you fired! My Daddy donates a lot of money and you have to do what I say!" she shrieks, almost berserk with anger.

Ms. Naylor takes a single step forward and slaps the raging girl. The sound of her hand seems as loud as a gunshot, and Valerie is shocked into momentary silence. She stares at the headmistress in horror, then her face tightens into rage again.

"That's it for you bitch!" she shouts. "You'll be in jail for touching me! In jail with this **** drunken pervert." She starts to stand but Ms. Naylor pushes her back into the chair and stands over her with icy anger

"There have been a lot of changes here over the summer Valerie. Not just a few male teachers but a return to corporal punishment. Yes Valerie, that means you can be physically punished for your behaviour. But there's another change too. Hidden cameras in the classrooms. Do you understand what that means, Valerie? It means I can pull up the images of what happened and see who is telling the truth."

The brunette's eyes are wide with surprise and growing worry. Emily sits sobbing, her fingers fumbling with each other, the very image of misery.

"So unless you want the police to see exactly what went on in that room, I'd suggest the truth," Ms. Naylor says firmly. "And right now."
