Not Quite

Aaron stood impatiently as the phone continued to drone on before suddenly coming to a stop. The phone clicked off and Aaron swore he could hear muffled groaning in the background. Unsure of what he was hearing Aaron parted his trembling lips to softly speak; "Amber is that you?". Silence hung menacingly in the air as Aaron shrugged it off before continuing on.

Feeling slightly unnerved Aaron took a slow breath, then continued; "Look I know we parted quite abruptly but it's literally hell out there and I miss you." The silence was suddenly broken by a series of low feminine purrs as they echoed down the phone and into Aaron's waiting ear. He felt himself becoming flustered and increasingly aroused from the frantic animalistic sounds.

Aaron pursed his lips, readying himself to respond before he heard Amber's familiar laugh echo down the line. She paused briefly before speaking in a sultry smooth tone; "So Aaron, are you gonna walk through hell and rescue me from my demonic captors." It sounded like Amber was discussing some sort of perverse roleplay.

He swore Amber sounded different and more commanding than before. Pushing the thought that something was off deeper into his mind Aaron parted his lips to respond: "Are you in trouble Amber, do you need me?" After releasing a low sigh Amber began to speak in a more frightened tone "Yes, it's Vanessa she's a Succubus and threatening to transform me into one of her kin."

Aaron could hear the terror in his former beau's voice followed by a bestial growl and a tearful wailing. Still recovering from the loss of his sister, Aaron knew he couldn't let another person he cared for fall into damnation. After taking a steadying breath, Aaron parted his lips to determinedly speak; "Everything's going to be ok Amber, just tell me where you are?"

The line went quiet for a brief second before Amber muttered one word and the line went dead...
