North to the Enchanted Woods

You'd heard too much gossip of trouble in the northern woods and as a self-respecting adventurer eager to help people, it was your duty to follow the rumors. It took only about half a day before the grasslands began giving way to sporadic trees. Continuing down the road you'd find the trees becoming more and more dense. Continuing on, a dense fog settled over the woods, making it difficult to realize that it was mid afternoon and the sun was high in the sky. The chirping of birds and the buzzing of insects kept an eerie silence from accompanying the scene, yet their noises hid what might be lurking in the forest. As you continued, you slowly noticed the path you'd been following had faded...

The woods had a strange effect on those who entered, getting lost was a common problem, especially for newcomers. You'd hoped to follow the path to the logging village at the edge of the woods, maybe hire a guide, but it appeared that wouldn't be happening. Perhaps you could continue on ahead? Or try to turn back and find your way out?

1. Continuing forward, you find a strange hut owned by an evil witch, one who is eagerly awaiting a traveler to use in her magic...

2. Attempting to fall back, you end up stepping into one of the many traps that the woodland elves leave behind...

3. Too busy thinking, you don't notice a swarm of capricious pixies swooping in until its too late, happy to prank the unsuspecting traveler
