The Cowgirl takes her time showboating as she climbs the ropes to set up her next move, posing and blowing kisses to the crowd. She probably thinks you won’t be able to get away from her in time.

She’s wrong.

When she leaps into the air to try to land a body splash that you’re sure would have been devastatingly effective, you roll out of the way just in time, leaving her to slam directly into the mat without anything (or anyone) to cushion her fall.

Even you have to wince a little at the resulting crash.

And the announcer does a little more than that. “Ouch! John adds insult to injury by literally snatching the Cowgirl’s power move right out from under her.”

But you barely even wait to hear the end of the comment as you rush over to her, rolling her over onto her back. She groans a little and stirs, but she’s too dazed from the self-inflicted blow to stop you from sliding in for the cover. Your nearly-naked bodies press firmly against each other as the ref counts Dinah out:

“1! 2! 3!”

You stare down at her smugly, still pinning her under you. “I think you know what’s next.”

“Yeah,” the Cowgirl says dejectedly, nodding in acceptance of the stipulation.
