Chapter 4
by dazer
Does the dream go further?
No. Because you are on the outskirts of the busy city
You are woken up by the sarge honking because another motorist just cut in front of the van. "Dammit. What a Sunday driver. He could have crashed into us right there."
As the van slowly makes it's way through the suburbs of the city, you realize that your daydream is gone for good.
The drive have taken less time that you had thought, and that means that you are ahead of schedule. So you text the principal to let him know that you will arrive around the hour mark.
"Thank you for letting us know John. We will have some of our residents to help you unload your belongings. See you then"
The further you make it into the city, the more narrow the roads become. Thankfully the heating from all the cars, busses and other motors have eliminated all the ice, making this part of the ride very easy.
"Here we are" says the Sarge as the van pulls into the parking lot of the dorm. You can see a couple of people standing outside. You are a bit surprised that it is primarily the girls and that the boys are nowhere to be seen.
You look at the sarge who gives you his hand for a handshake. "As i said lad, it have been a pleasure". You shake his hand and make your way outside
Time for moving your belongings inside
