Nicest Restaurant in Town

You get up the next morning and your wife is already up as usual. She gets up around forty five minutes before you to get ready for her own job. You say good morning shortly before you jump in the shower, and then see her again downstairs where you both get coffee and breakfast. Just before you both head out the door, you kiss her goodbye.

When you get to work, you briefly talk to your boss before heading to your desk to start doing the work for the company's clients. It isn't difficult but it is time consuming, so it's almost lunch time before you even think of contacting Matt to let him know that you successfully convinced your wife to go on a sex date with him. Though you don't plan on telling him that she thinks {if Trick = true}it's a regular date with you.{else}its just a regular dinner.{endif} Since Matt works in a different department, with a different boss, you can't just walk over to the next cubical to talk to him, so you decide to text him during your lunch break.

You wait several minutes for a reply. Since Matt's job involves communicating with clients and gaining their influence and confidence, his lunch break doesn't always line up with yours. In fact lunch meetings with clients can sometimes be his busiest time so you aren't even sure if you're going to hear back from him any time soon. But just before your lunch break ends you hear the ping of your phone.

Matt: wow how u manage that?!!?!?!! Gonna make a booking now

You: she said nowher 2 fancy

It's easier to just ignore the question of how you think as you mute your phone and return to your desk. It's still on vibrate, but you still interrupt your work every five minutes to check your phone messages because you think you feel something but aren't sure. You're eager to hear where he's taking her.

Matt: Okay, Chez Mignon, 8pm

You: wtf said nowher 2 fancy

You stare at your phone in shock. Chez Mignon is just about the swankiest restaurant in town. Bookings usually have to be made a month in advance.

Matt: Have a standing arrangement because I bring clients regularly

Another text comes through while you're still staring at your phone in disbelief.

Matt: Want to wine n dine her right to get her in the mood for the night don't wait up

While taking her somewhere so pricey will make your wife uncomfortable and actually less likely to get into bed with him, you have no idea how you're going to convince your wife that you're the one who got the booking. Somewhere so pricey that Ariana will have to dress up for will only make her feel uncomfortable. That fact along with lying to her about the nature of the date has you feeling confident that Matt won't be getting Ariana anywhere near the bedroom.{endif}

After a glance around the office to make sure no one is watching you text your best friend about a sex date with his girlfriend rather than doing your work, you wait. You try to do some more work in the meantime, but you're too distracted {if Trick = true}thinking about how to further lie to your wife. The easiest way, you decide, would be to say Matt gave you the table, but your best friend handing you a reservation to the nicest restaurant in town might seem suspicious.{else}imagining the events of this Friday to concentrate properly. You wonder if you should book a hotel for you and Kali, since you won't be able to bring her back home if Matt strikes out with your wife.{endif}

While you're browsing the places, on the sly rather than doing work, your phone buzzes with another message.
