Tanya walked over to the seat beside Jess. It was as close as she felt she could get to Brad for now. Jess looked up at Tanya as she covered her the empty seat with her bag.

Jess and Tanya were friends when they were young, but drifted apart long before high school. Jess had become a total bitch and dressed slutty to get boys to like her.

"This seat's taken." Jess said loudly with disdain in her voice. People around the place started to laugh. Tanya looked around. Brad wasn't laughing but he did look up.
