Nearly back...

All Janet wanted was to be somewhere where she would be safe from any further ****. She wanted to be in her room. Once there she would get herself untied somehow.

She was within a hundred yards of the hotel when she felt a slight vibration at her neck, and a similar one at her wrist. She stopped and by moving her left wrist out to the side while simultaneously craning her neck she was able to see that her bracelet had turned red.

Thank God for that! She hurried toward the building, unsure for how long she might be safe.

Fifty yards to go, and three college-age kids walked through the gate. They were talking and joking with each other but fell silent as they caught sight of the naked woman hurrying towards them.

Janet stopped, unsure of what to do. She remembered that her red bracelet (and presumably necklace) ought to keep her safe from another ****, but pride made it difficult for her to let herself been seen in her current condition. Trying to run was pointless. She would have no chance of outdistancing three fit young men, and even if, by some miracle, she did, she would end up further away from where she wanted to be. In any case, she needed her arms free. Between her and her room there were gates and doors to open, elevator buttons to press, and the digital lock on her door to operate. She wasn’t sure of being able to do any of that, tied as she was.

Making up her mind, and trusting in the protection of her red stones, she approached the group and stopped in front of them, conscious of their eyes roaming over her body.

“Okay, you’ve had your free look. I don’t want to make a big thing out of this, but I’d like you to untie me please.”

She turned her back to them to show them her bound elbows.
