Chapter 11 by floppy15 floppy15

Do I know her? Taylor? Kirsten? Emma? Jennifer?

My sister Marisa

..... was Marisa. There is no doubt in my mind, but why would I dream of my pregnant big sister?

Utterly confused by the dream I get up and walk to the bathroom. I let ice-cold water run over my hands and splash some of it onto my face. The specifics of the dream are now gone, but my sister's face stays in my head. Her sweet lips and ocean-blue eyes. The joy her whole expression displayed.

The cold water seems to work and I raise my head and look into the mirror. This nights sleep wasn't very restorative. Today's shower has to be a cold one or I won't survive the day. Thank god it's Saturday, but there is no way of knowing, if Dad wants to do one of his special projects. The last one was to dig a little pool in the backyard. “Little is relative, the next four Saturdays I was shoveling dirt until I fell into bed at night with no power left.

Twenty minutes later I'm on my way downstairs, freshly showered. Laughter is coming from the kitchen, what is a good sign. Nobody in my family is a morning person, except Danny. The last few weekends he couldn't sleep longer than seven o'clock and dragged my parents out of bed too. Once he has tried to get me up, but if I want to I can sleep under the toughest circumstances.

When I get into the kitchen I see four people sitting at the kitchen table. Four? Facing away from me on the closest chair sits a girl I don't recognize at first. She seems to be rather tall, what I can tell. Her long chestnut-colored hair is bound into a ponytail. Although the morning isn't that hot yet, she is just wearing a white tank top, that seems to small for her and a short red skirt, that shows off her perfectly tanned long legs. My father spots me in the doorway and smiles.

“Morning John. Look who is visiting.” he says and looks at our female guest. Everybody is turning towards me. My eyes are fixed on the girl in front of me and as she turns around I recognize my sister. The same eyes I tried to forget after my dream earlier this morning are looking at me and a bewitching smile appears on her face. This can't be a coincidence, the day Marisa is visiting, I have this dream. She is sitting sideways on her chair, what allows me to admire her in all her maternal glory. Four months ago she had told us about her pregnancy, but since then I haven't seen her, so it never became real to me. She must be six months pregnant now and the belly that sticks out of her top proves it. Now it becomes clear to me, why I thought her top looked to small. Her beautiful belly and her enormous breast stretch it to the limit. She is a D-cup easily now. I don't know what to say to her and so I just stand there.

Steadying herself on the chair and the kitchen table she gets to her feet with some effort. Without a word we walk towards each other. She spreads her arms and embraces me in a hug. Her big belly is pressing into my stomach and I carefully hug her back.

“I'm pregnant not invalid John. Give your big sis a real hug.” she teases me. I can't see her face, but I think she is crying. Encouraged by her words I tightly pull her body against me. A minute or to go by before we let go of each other and like I suspected, her eyes are full of tears. Quickly the beautiful smile from earlier appears and she wipes away her tears.

Her expression suddenly changes, she looks down and her left hand strokes her pregnant belly.

“What's wrong?” I ask her out of concern and make a step towards her. Marisa looks up again and smiles.

“She seems to like her uncle. She's kicking.” Marisa tells me and I calm down a little. A girl, like in the dream. To my surprise my sister takes my hand and places it on her belly. The movement inside is unbelievable. Under normal circumstances the body does exactly what it's supposed to do, but in here is somebody, a little girl with her own will. A feeling of joy overcomes me. Now everybody in the room smiles.

“I wanna feel too.” Danny shouts and ends this wonderful moment. Marisa sits back down and Danny runs towards her. His eyes and mouth open wide when he feels his niece kick. The little girl seems to be tired by her activities and stops kicking a minute later.

“What brings you back home sis?” I ask her after I sat down at the table.

“Well......” Marisa begins.

Why is she back home? Will she stay?
