My best friend, Kohana

I accept the call. "Yuki! Good morning!", Kohana yells. "Kohana, I can hear you. You don't need to yell.", I laugh to myself. "Where are you right now?", she asks. "I'm in my kitchen, eating breakfast...", I reply. "Look out the window.", she said. I can almost see her grin. I do as she says and look out the window to see her waving.

I hang up and let her in. "Did you eat breakfast?" I ask. "Nope." she replied. "I have some bread, if you want it." I say to her. "Nah, it's fine." she said.

"It's been forever since I last saw you!" she said. "I saw you just last week..." I said. "Exactly. it's been forever!", she repeated as we leave my house.
