My Feelings

“Maria… I have to confess something.”

“What?”

“I- … I have feelings for you.”

“You what?”

“I’m not sure it’s healthy for me to be the coach of your team. I think there would be issues, so I’ll be stepping down.”

“No, you can’t do that!”

“Maria, I have to. It’s not appropriate.”

“That’s not true…” You stand and walk over to Maria who is working herself into hysterics. You put your hands on her shoulders to steady her. She looks up at you with eyes full of earnest honesty. “That’s not true… because… because it isn’t just appropriate… It’s what I’ve wanted all along.”

Maria springs up at you kissing you fiercely, tears streaming from her eyes. Her spandex clad body wrapping around you and drawing you in to her embrace.
