Ms. Jensen explains the origins

"How do you know so much about this ****, professor?" Rocketgirl allowed her suspicions to take hold.

"I worked on the formula when working for a contract chemical company" Ms Jensen admitted. "However, the company lost its funding and went bankrupt. The research was being used to see how certain nerves react in the brain during ecstasy, but the work never was completed before the company went belly up. I wasn't the only person involved in the development. There was a Dr. Erika Bluder and a Caribbean fellow named Markus Stone. I would investigate them, as they would be the only ones I would know who would remember how to synthesize any of this."

"Will do." replied Rocketgirl.

"Be careful when dealing with Markus." said Ms Jensen.

"Why is that?" asked the superheroine.

"I'd be more prone to think he is the one involved over Erika being the one. Erika had a mean streak but Markus had a shady history even before working with me and that company. He also had connections to the Gray Hand"

"The criminal organization? Why would any honest company hire him?" exclaimed Rocketgirl

"He was that good at what he did and was a very clever individual. But, I think it was his connections that scared the investors, which in turn may be why we lost funding." explained Ms Jensen.
