"Mr. Piggy" so he blurted out, unwilling to be branded a criminal, but as soon as he did he understood his mistake and corrected himself while enduring the surrounding laughers "Wait, my name's not Piggy, i'm Ryu!"

The red-haired knight was still restraining her laughter on the side, though she just couldn't stop the side of her lips from twitching repetitively, whereas the other two girls just couldn't hold themselves back, laughing their heart out for a while.

Lia was the first to recover, albeit not completely as she still giggled from time to time "So, Ryu, what are you doing in the middle of nowhere without anything to eat or even a weapon to defend yourself?"

If Ryu didn't understand what happened to him even after finding himself in a strange place and meeting knights and elves, he wouldn't have the face to call himself an otaku any more.

No, maybe it would be better to not be recognized as an otaku at all? Anyway, it was clear that he'd been isekaied.

"I understand you got into trouble, but walking till there with nothing at all on you? That's not even crazy, or rather, it's idiotic. Are you a fool, Mr. Ryu?" when she asked that, Niah'la chimed in from the side "Come on, Lia, aren't you the same? You escaped from your marriage to chase your dream and embrace free love! You need to be more flexible, as Mr. Piggy here might just be your first lover, you know?"

Lia seemed embarrassed for a second, or maybe pissed, though she still rebutted soon after "Who's gonna be his lover? And i don't need any free love, i'll be happy being an outstanding adventurer so keep your belief to yourself"

"Oh, come on Lia, and anyway isn't he in our same situation? Moreover, he wants to be a adventurer too and don't we need a...> Niah'la didn't finish her words, instead glancing towards Fira who nodded "Fitting"

Not understanding what they were going on about, Ryu asked "Uhm... you're adventurers too? You're letting me join your team?"

Lia was the one to answer him "Indeed we are, a fresh team from... well, afar. We came here because we heard about the new dungeons appearing near Brushire and after reaching here, we heard about the guild establishing Brohole Post as a vanguard for the adventurers heading here, so we where heading there when we found you. We're only a day away from the Post"

So the blonde girl explained her situation, adding then "As for your joining... actually, we noticed that our group composition isn't really fitting. Or to be precise, we lack a tank. I'm actually a mage whereas Nia is an healer, whereas Fira might be good at close to mid range melee... but being alone, she won't be enough to cover both of us, not even mentioning her fighting style better fit for attacking rather than defending. Therefore, it'd help if you pick up a shield and hold the gates while we rain **** upon our enemies"
