Move along to maths

"I mean it get the hell out of my class room right now and be thankful you are not back at school or you would be in real trouble. In fact I've a mind to go see Mr Shock right now." She's really working up a head of steam now.

Haven't heard that threat in a while you think briefly (Mr. Shock was the deputy principal and in charge of discipline). But you have got other problems right now as the little lady has worked herself into a fury. You have never seen her this angry and begin to think that maybe you should have just kept on going to where you were meant to be heading. "Sorry to interrupt Sue, I'll just be leaving now." You manage to say as you beat a hasty exit. Sue is trying to look stern but just as you are turning to leave you see an underlying emotion fighting to break through the facade, disappointment maybe?

Making it outside you shut the sliding door and take a couple of deep breaths to steady your nerves.

Then it hits you.

You just had the chance, to score with a teacher you had fantasised about. She was already hot and worked up, and she is obviously interested in guys your age. You let a little bluster put you back in your place. Crestfallen you spend the rest of the day catching up with people you will never see again and meaningless chitchat probably passing up several other opportunities you shouldn't have missed. Pity you can't relive that moment again...
