Karen didn't say anything, but clasped John's hand in hers, walking to the back of the lab. She opened a door and flicked on the light to reveal a small storage room with a single bed in it. She yanked him into the room and shut the door behind him. She pulled him into an embrace, her mouth eager to kiss him again. He lost himself into making out.

"This bed is here for when I'm working late on my project. I want to thank you for freeing me from myself," she said before she resumed the kiss. As he slid his tongue into her mouth, he picked up a thought from her, 'I hope he wants to have sex with me.' With the unspoken green light given, John puts his arms around her waist and lifted her up, depositing her on the bed. She laughed, a sound that flowed over his skin like fingertips.

"I've wanted to have sex with you since I knew what sex was, Karen," he said with emotion shaking his voice.

She got a surprised look on her face and said, "Oops, I forgot about your telepathy for a second."
