Monica wanted to look on her phone, but she was too tired. All she could do was sit there while the taxi drove to her apartment. She felt bad about leaving David at the club and about dragging Tilla into this. Eventually, the taxi stopped outside the building Monica's apartment was in. "Since you're tired, I'll only charge you half of what the drives worth". The taxi driver said to her. Monica was a bit irritated since she had to pat while being tired. "Im kidding, it's on the house. Just don't tell anyone about it, I gotta pay the bills somehow". He told her. She then got up to get out " thanks for the ride". She told the drive. " you're welcome. Also, given how your date and your hot friend were like tonight, I'd say you're lucky to have those two in your life. Not that many people can say that, treat them well". He told Monica, and then drove away.

Monica went up a few floors to get to her room. She could just use the elevator, but she wanted to get her steps in. When she opened her door, she breathed a sigh of relief to be back home. She immediately went to take a shower. For some reason, she smelled like cemen and body spray. As she got her clothes off, she remembered what the taxi driver told her she was lucky to have David and Tilla in her life. It's weird how she's only known them for about a week and she already thinks about them alot. Maybe he was right, she had to make this up to David somehow. She then put her phone on the charger for the night. Finally she got in the shower, her chance to make it up to him was official. As she cleaned her body, she started to feel odd.
