Metal table leg

You look around, and spot a shattered table leg. The piece metal is about a metre long, and one of the ends has been broken into a sharp point as it was snapped from the table.

You walk over and pick it up. The metal seems to be pretty sturdy, and has a comforting weight to it, slightly reducing your anxiety.

You turn it over in your hands, and consider how you would engrave the required runes onto the metal.

Suddenly an ear-splitting howl echoes through the building, the howl of an anger demon. You glance quickly around, noticing that your cramped surroundings would make it certain **** if you faced a demon in here.

A spear of fear rips through you, there is no time left to summon and bind the demon, the only option you have is to go out, hopefully you can sneak past the demon to safety, and then get about binding your own.

You pick your way across the shattered room, shards of broken desks and chairs crunching beneath your feet. Each sound making you wince and pray you aren’t discovered.

You leave the building and instantly feel a chilling wind cut right into you. Shivering slightly you look around to take stock of the situation.

Another roar splits the cold air, and you spin quickly to look in the direction it came from.

Looking out into the dull air you can see a large form take shape. The powerful figure of a demon of anger forms itself out of the grey air, its red skin making it stand out from the lifeless surroundings. Once again it throws back its head, opens its fanged maw and bellows its anger.

Just to the side of the demon you spot a small, blonde haired guy. His mouth is open in a wide scream, though by looking into his eyes you see that the scream is one of anger, not of fear. The eyes of the guy are a deep red, and crimson streaks wind their way from the bloodshot orbs.

You feel your heart go cold as you notice the man is pointing at you. The demon turns and fixes you with a rage filled glare, and begins to run toward you. It seems your only option is to fight.
