Message from the author

This chapter is not the start of a new branch and doesn’t even fully relate to the story. If you are just here to read some sexy stories and jerk off, this is not the chapter for you (I have many other chapters for that). This is here just so I can say thank you. I just started writing here because I wanted to create more of the type of stories I like to read. I never imagined that another person would even read what I wrote. Now, this story I started on a whim has grown bigger than I ever could’ve imagined. At the time of writing this, my little story has grown to more than 200 chapters, has received more than 2,200 likes, and has gained almost 500,000 views! It is insane how far this story has grown, but it is not all thanks to me. There has been contributions from 9 other amazing writers. Authors like totallynot and qexiqex have contributed entire branches of storylines to this story and have provided their own amazing takes on my ideas, coming up with ideas that I never would’ve imagined. While those two have by far had the biggest impact on this story, the smaller contributions are just as important. Even if all they contributed was a chapter or two, they had just as big an impact on this work. Seeing other writer’s takes on my ideas motivates me to write more unique and creative concepts. So, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone that has contributed to my story so far.

I bet you are also wondering why I chose to write this all of the sudden. While I have wanted to publicly thank everyone that has help make this work what it is now, I also wanted to call people to action. Stories like those on chyoa live and die on the contributions of others and the constantly growing stories. It is a cycle of creativity, with someone reading a chapter and becoming inspired to write their own chapters to continue the story, which then inspires the original author to write even more. It is the lifeblood of this site. However, I understand that not everyone is a writer. Whether they don’t like to write or don’t feel confident enough in their skills to share with the public, some people just aren’t writers. Yet, that doesn’t mean they don’t have ideas or opinions on how they think the story should go or a concept they would like to see explored. That is the other reason I chose to write this. I know there are tons of people with interesting ideas that don’t know how to express it, and I want to hear those ideas. That is why I would like to encourage those people to share those ideas with me, whether that be in the comments of the chapter or in a private message to me. I want to hear your ideas because they fuel me as a writer. To provide a little bit of incentive to share your ideas, I will from this point on give credit for any chapters I write that are inspired by a comment or message from you, unless you request otherwise. So please, share your ideas so this story can continue to grow to greater and greater heights.
