Why hurt him? It's only a training fight after all. You hold out your hand and the soldier, who's name is Derik, takes it and you help him to his feet. "Nice fight," you say, "you almost had me there."

Derik smiles at you. "Aye, that I did. Next time I will win...my friend."

Your brother Charles glares at you, then he cuffs you across the face. "Stupid boy! Never show your enemy mercy, its only weakness."

You rub your cheek, knowing its going to be bruised. You look over at Derik and decide that you did the right thing.

Congratulations, you've gotten a bruise and your brother is angry at you. Then again you have a new friend in Derik. Does that make things better?
