Mellas

A chain of islands in the sea off of Aquinta's southern coast that is modeled after Greece. The tribes of Mellas live in harmony now, but they used to wage war on one another until they settled and declared a high king by combat amonst some of the wisest and stongest in the lands. The islands are beautful and their many leisures attarct vistors from all over who wish to enjoy island food and spas. Some of the most exotic animals hail from the region and are sold overseas to collecters and nobles. A main source of income is fishing with most inhabitants taking up the life of seamen who soak in tbe salty air and catch boat loads of fish.
