Mei!

"Hey Mei, you ready to go?" I ask as I poke my head into the office where she's already hard at work. She's wearing her trademark sweatpants with her white tank top again.

"Oh, sure!" She smiled with her crazily cute little face. Slowly, she walks out and opened the gate for me, before jumping into Mikes passenger seat. I call my car Mike because it's a little green monster, a reference to Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. The fifteen minute journey to town is filled with eye spy of all things. Turns out Mei is a little bit of a cheater, using Chinese names for things so I can never guess them.

Once we arrive at the shopping centre, I park awkwardly, like a P plater does, and we walk inside, side by side. Unfortunately, the trip takes far longer than it should, because Mei stopped at literally every item and asked "what's this?". I think the annoyance was clear on my face, because on the trip home she said:

"I'm sorry Mr Matt. I have not been food shopping in almost thirty years because of my cryostasis. It's like when Zarya yells 'Fire at will' and everything becomes so crazy I was just trying to work out what was what. I'm sorry." I could tell that she was opening up with me, showing me a side that not many people knew about. As she finished her sentence, we had just arrived home. I parked, leaned over and kissed her. Deeply and Passionately. A lovers kiss. And she kissed back, with the same intensity. We kissed for almost a minute before I pulled away and whispered "Think of me like your own personal Zenyatta then. I won't let anything hurt you. You can trust me"

And with that, the girls ran out towards the car, no doubt starving, but also killing the moment.
