Chapter 28 by Risax Risax

What’s next?

Meeting Maya.

Two tall, burly man wearing nothing but cloth breeches and leather vests took the two wounded men out of the inn, while the balding slightly overweight barman behind the counter gestured wildly. “Alright, show’s over get back ta yer drinks.”

But there was something to see for Selan.
A look of recognition appeared on the half-elf’s face. “Maya?” He said in surprise.

Francesca looked past Selan to get a view of this ‘Maya’ and almost gasped when she laid eyes on her, the chestnut haired priestess had never had feelings for other women before, but she could not deny the beauty of the caramel skinned warrior woman and felt a spark of lust between her legs.

Francesca imagined that Maya looked like the kind of woman that inspired poets and bards to write ballads, poems and songs about mighty heroines like ‘Gold Sonya’ or ‘Belina the Pirate Queen’. Her face was heart shaped with high thin cheekbones, short charcoal black hair that looked almost boyish framed her beautiful face. The lips of the caramel skinned beauty were almost as full and plump as hers, but shaped in such a way that it seemed like she was always ready to kiss someone.

As she took in the armor clad form of the warrioress, she noted that Maya’s huge, gravity defying tits were not as large as hers, but the shapely globes certainly came close. When she looked over her flat stomach, and long muscled legs Francesca felt the sudden desire to see Maya naked.

First the expression on Maya’s face was one of happiness, as she locked eyes with Selan, but when her eyes spotted Francesca the caramel skinned warrior woman’s expression turned to worry. When the woman approached them, the grace in her steps reminding Francesca of the Lidean Panthers residing in the jungles of the Eroe Isles, she noted that Maya was tall, taller than her and taller than Selan.

“Maya, why are you in Lemen?” Selan asked Maya, confused.

Maya bit her lower lip and looked from the half-elf, to the pretty priestess.
She sighed, and shook her head. “Can we sit down, and have a drink?” The busty warrior woman asked. And with a nod, both Selan and Francesca followed her to an empty table.

Selan sat down, as Maya ordered a bottle of wine and three glasses, he and Maya had not spoken for two years. Partly because Selan had acted like a fool two years ago, by getting lost in Greyrock’s forest and making it worse by telling ghost stories. When he first tried to apologize, she had ignored him, when he tried to come by her house a few days later, John a local bully and the smith’s apprentice (the smith being Maya’s father) usually stopped him from coming in.

He had thought that Maya hated her, yet when she saw Selan standing in the inn she looked happy, and when she saw Francesca she had looked...hurt? The two of them had always been good friends, ever since they had been children, but were there other feelings aside from friendship? Selan had thought of it sometimes, the two of them being lovers, and they were always happy thoughts. But could it be that she had felt the same?

But when he looked at Francesca...
Although the way they met was odd to say the least, he already couldn’t imagine his life without her. If it wasn’t for her, he would still be stuck in Greyrock and the last few days he had spent with her were some of the happiest in his life. Apparently Francesca noticed his discomfort, and she turned her attention to Maya.

Since both Maya and Selan had been sipping their wine without exchanging words, merely glancing at each other from time to time over their glasses, Francesca decided to do something about the tense situation herself. “Maya, I think we need to have a talk.” Francesca suddenly said, and never thought that the strong, slightly intimidating woman, could look so scared.

Selan looked worried too, and poured himself another glass of wine as the two women walked towards the counter. Before Francesca could ask anything to the dark-skinned teen, Maya spoke up herself. “A-are you Selan’s, uhm, girlfriend?” The warrior woman asked, with a look in her eyes that almost begged Francesca to tell her it wasn’t true.

“Are you sure you want to know?” Francesca asked, Maya swallowed and nodded.
“I guess we are, you feel...the same about Selan, don’t you?”

Maya was quiet for a few moments and looked from Francesca, to Selan who looked at the two women with his hands in his hair, and terror in his eyes. “He is a fool, but he was never mean to me, and despite the fact that I was stronger, he always did his best to protect me...” Maya said with a smile on her lips, and a faraway look in her eyes.

“Tell me about him.” Francesca asked the dark-skinned teen, who seemed to have calmed down.

Maya then told her about many things, how her parents had both been part of a mercenary company, and how they had not been liked by the other people of Greyrock before her father became the smith. How Selan’s parents and hers had been friends ever since they both settled in Greyrock, and she had Selan had practically been cousins since then. How she realized that she felt more than friendship for Selan after the stunt he pulled in the forest, and was too shy to face him when he tried to apologize.

“So you gathered your courage to finally tell Selan how you felt, you even left Greyrock to find him and tell him so.” Francesca said. “I’m sorry, you must hate me.” Francesca sighed.

“Oddly enough, I don’t.” Maya brought up, as she locked eyes with Francesca. “He seems so happy around you...I am a little jealous, but I don’t hate you.” She said as she looked over her shoulder, to look at the half-elf who sat up straight as her copper coloured eyes locked with his violet ones.

“You didn’t see the way he looked at you when he first saw you, didn’t you?”
Francesca said with a cheeky smile.

Maya’s face darkened, as she blushed.
“If he really feels something from me, the bloody fool should’ve said something.” Maya muttered, as she locked eyes with Francesca.

Francesca giggled.
“Maybe he can show you in another way.”

“How do you mean?” Maya asked.

“You know...” Francesca said seductively, and winked at Maya.

“I-I don’t think I can...Wait, are you fine with me and Selan...You know?”
She whispered.

“He gets very honest during sex.” Francesca whispered, and giggled when Maya’s face darkened in embarrassment. “And Selan seems to care about you a lot, and you care about him too.” Before she could say anything else, Maya hugged her tightly and pressed her full lips against hers.

“Thanks.” Maya whispered. “Just...Can you come along?” The dark skinned teen asked.

Selan watched as the two women approached him, the conversation seemed to have gone well as Francesca smiled broadly and Maya looked slightly nervous. “Uh, is everything alright?” The half-elf decided to ask, before tentatively taking a sip of wine.

“Could you come upstairs with us?” Maya asked suddenly, and Francesca giggled next to her as Selan nearly spat out his wine.

“What!? Maya, are you sure you are fine with- Francesca what abou...? Heh?” Selan sputtered.

“You’re so adorable when you get all confused.” Francesca giggled, as she pulled Selan to his feet and grabbed his left arm. Maya smiled, and grabbed his right arm.

“Let’s go to my room.” She muttered, as the three of them ascended the wooden stairs.
