What happens at the Palace?
Meet the President
Brooke and Debbie are ushered through the front doors of the Presidential Palace. Both women are aware that the luxury and glitter of the estate come at the expense of thousands and thousands of oppressed people living in fear and poverty. Brooke intends to speak to the President about the horrible conditions in which his people exist.
Four guards, each well over six feet in height and powerfully built, lead the two young women through the elegant halls. Their driver and bodyguard have disappeared. One of the guards opens a massive oak door and silently directs the women into the Presidential Office.
The women enter what appears to be an exact replica of the Oval Office of the President of the United States. Behind the massive desk sits the President of Lumumba, General Okeme. He wears a sky-blue military uniform covered with ribbons and medals.
Brooke steps forward. "Mr President, it is an honor to meet you."
Before the woman can utter another word or take another step, General Okeme stands enraged. "How dare you! How dare you speak in the presence of the supreme greatness. How dare you not show proper respect to your superior!"
Without warning the four guards grab the two women. Each is **** down onto the rich and thick carpet. A heavy, booted foot grinds into each woman's back, holding her down and submissive.
General Okeme moves, cat-like, from behind his desk. "I have been waiting for you two: spoiled, decadent off-spring of colonial oppressors. I can see you hold the Black man in the same low regard as your ancestors. Well, today you will learn the price of arrogance. Today you will learn the meaning of oppression!"
What kind of lessons are planned?
