Next day...

You don’t remember the process of getting home but before you knew it you found your cousin waking you up with a shake. It was 5AM - hell you barely got any damn sleep but here he was shaking you awake.

Thankfully he was shaking you awake to give you just what you needed after last night - a cup of warm coffee. Granted it tasted like shit ( way too damn sweet for your liking ) but the caffeine was needed.

“So! First morning in Arcadia! What’s your plan?”

“Well- at the moment...”

“David...” your cousin squints and you groan rolling your eyes. You wish you got the time to even relax a bit but - you do owe him.

“Fine. Fine I’ll start looking in the ads for some jobs. You got a newspaper round here or something cuz?”

“Me? No no. But Two Whales might. They’re the diner close by I can send you the address.”

“Appreciate it cuz, are they even open this early?” You take another sip of your coffee as you open your phone - part of you wishes you had taken some pics of that Rachel girl something to feast on when your brother leaves.
