Who takes the first ring?
Maureen
Maureen reaches into the box and takes out the ring where the ruby is slightly more prominent. Then she nods to the rest of you.
"Jump to it, girls. Remember our agreement."
You take the ring with the prominent emerald, Tianna takes the sapphire, Olivia takes the diamond, and Jess takes the amethyst. You each slip the ring on your right index finger, then hold your right hands out in a circle, each girl's thumb touching the pinky of the girl next to her.
Jess gives a little Mona Lisa smile and says, "Today we join our hands and our lives; friends forever, lovers as needed, no secrets, may the circle be unbroken."
Everyone responds, "May the circle be unbroken."
