Matt does not escape

Matt, completely out of league, can't do anything about his situation. He never sees the lady he saw on the bus, but the spirit he had first met, as he later learned to be a Naiyd, took care of him and his needs. She was always wet in every sense. She fed from him the most, sucking him off every time. Occasionally she would drain him of a substantial amount of blood.
After 3 months of being bled and fed upon, a different event occurred, he heard an explosion downstairs, some things breaking and then things got quiet. Soon Matt heard a soft crackling, and the house began to heat up.
Matt died peacefully in his bed of asphyxiation from the fire.
