Manto-Chimera

One of the fiercest hybrids to meet on the Savannah are the dreaded manto-chimeras, one of the super predators of the great grasslands. They are the hybrids made from an incredibly rare chimera and manticore breeding. Gods help most monsters caught in their sights.

Manto-Chimeras mostly resemble chimeras except that their fur is always a deep crimson, they have draconic wings, three rows of fangs, and instead of snake tails they have scorpion tails. They have the super strength of Chimeras with the ranged attacks of Manticores. Not only that, but their toxin is stronger and they're able release roars that can physically knockdown foes.

They have have lean towards hunting styles depending on who raises them. A chimera raised offspring will lean more towards displays of pure power while a manticore one will lean towards ambush tactics but all manto-chimeras will find a way to mix in the other side despite leaning towards their up-bringer's tactics.

Those born to a brute chimera, being darker and buffer, will be akin to volcanos, quiet under most circumstances until they explode violently once their hunt begins and many monsters will only get one warning. Ruinous manticore born manto-chimera's have spines along their arms, legs, and backs, and their tactics are to wait before dive bombing an unsuspecting group of monsters.

Those who born to both ruinous manticores and brute chimeras are known as calamitous manto-chimeras, buff and dark manto-chimeras with spikes covering much of their backs, arms, and legs. They are known to decimate environments, littering territories with greats gouges, spikes, and fucked monsters. Their great bellows are the first thing monsters hear right before they're utterly fucked in a whirlwind of **** in their holes again and again.

All manto-chimeras have a great attachment to immediate familial kin and won't take threats to their mothers or sisters kindly. They're known to relentlessly stalk and **** perpetrators without a moments rest.
