Make an Excuse

"Oh, well I'm normally only a Scotch drinker." you reply.

"Oh, ok." she says

She comes over and sits down on the couch next to you. You talk about the project for twenty minutes. You listen to her ramble on about her experiences with customers and it bores you.

After a half hour of listening to her, you figure you've put up with enough and get up to leave.

"Tina," you say "thanks for the info. It was great."

"Oh, you're leaving?" she asks "That's all you wanted to know?"

"Yes, I have an early morning." you reply

"Are you sure I can't interest you in that bourbon again?" she asks you with a twinkle in her eye.

You seriously ponder it.

"I can put ice in it for you!" she adds

What are you going to do?

Stay and have the bourbon?
Leave?
