Make amends with the bush?

“Look ‘I’m sorry bush, anythin’ I can do to make it up to ye?” The bush pauses before it replies now calmer.

“Stay here and talk with me! Nobody else around here is good for conversation.”

“Aye seems simple enough, I guess I could do that.”

Time flies as you and the bush discuss many topics. Some including; why rain water is worse then ground water, where dryads hide their leafy undergarments, and the geopolitics of the lizard kingdoms in the southern swamps.

This bush is surprisingly knowledgeable now that I think about it…
