Mai surrenders

"I can't continue this duel," Mai admitted, closing her eyes and cringing at her own weakness. No duel had ever been won by giving up, of course, and she'd never surrender a duel that she thought she had a chance of winning. He'd seen them all along, but now, robbed of the illusion they'd been under, they'd begun to jeer and whistle. If some wacko drags you to the shadow realm, I'll be there to pick ya up, every time!" he reassured her, using the sleeve of his t-shirt to wipe her face cheek clean. "Thank you," Mai sighed, a slight smile on her face as she cradled Joey with her arms. The young man was kind enough not to complain about the smell of the monster cum that covered her; that in itself was a miracle of love. Despite the aeesthetics, it could be considered a touching scene...

One person, of course, was not touched.
