Magic Remote

John invented a magic remote that only worked on women and by extension, female celebrities. The controls were:

Power: When pressed, the woman falls asleep untill pressed again

Pause: When pressed, the woman freezes in place, will remain frozen until unpaused

Volume up/down/mute: The woman will talk louder or quieter when pressed

Channel: This changes the womans channel, and the world will conform to think the woman has always been ber new channel (so if John makes Kylie Jenner think she's a monkey, the world will change so that Kylie never existed, but was always a monkey). The woman also gains clothong to match her new channel.

Loop: This will make her loop any action

Fast forward/rewind: The woman will either move faster or move in reverse

John also quickly set up a shop full of electronics, and awaited his first celebrity customer.
