Maggie Sawyer becomes Maggie Sawyer-Kane

Selina smiled as she summoned all the needed information into her head. She clapped lightly and looked at her new guest. The woman sitting across from her looked around confused.

“Captain Sawyer,” Selina said in her Catwoman pur, “I can assure you, that you are in no danger. I just want to talk to you.”

“Catwoman,” Sawyer said.

“Yes,” Selina smiled, “Let me ask you, if you could look at your life and see all the horrible mistakes you made and change them, wouldn’t you?”

“Some of them resulted in blessings,” Maggie said thinking of her daughter and her ex-husband, “And not making the mistake would undo that gift.”

Catwoman smiled and paused for a second before speaking.

“And what about the hundred bucks you spent on lottery tickets that got you nothing and needed three days later?” Catwoman referenced a very specific memory.

“How did you know about that?” Maggie snapped.

“I am being given the chance to change things around. Fix all the things I did wrong and set Gotham up to be a better place,” Catwoman calmly explained, “Part of how I am doing that is god like powers. Powers to see how things were, change some things, and see how those changes have affected the greater picture.”

“So what do you want with me?” Maggie asked.

“Two things,” Catwoman said, “I know about your engagement to the Bat. I have already made peace with her, but I need her to have support at home, your support. I also need someone to staff the role of ‘inside man,’ as the job is known.”

“What would I have to do?” Maggie asked.

“Be a loving and supportive wife for your wife,” Catwoman tick off, “And supply me with information from inside the police.”

“And why should I?” Maggie asked.

“Bacause I will use my powers to ensure you have a happy marriage to your wife,” Catwoman’s face became a knowing smile, “And I will make sure you never let your relationship with your daughter never fell apart.”

“That was a low blow bitch!” Maggie snapped.

“It wasn’t an insult,” Catwoman didn’t seem to care what Maggie said, “It was an offer of services provided in return.”

“And what services do you want me to do for you?” Maggie asked, “Just to be clear.”

“I am sure you know what being a loving wife entails,” Catwoman said, “As for being my inside man, send me inside information on releavent cases like you use to do during your pillow talk with Toby.”

Maggie was speechless, how did Catwoman know about her dating the reporter in Metropolis?

“If you leave your mouth open,” Catwoman had a snarky tone, “Some boy might think you want him to put something in it that you don’t want as a lesbian.”

“Can you really fix my life?” Maggie asked.

“Agree to work for me,” Selina said, “And I will show you.”

Maggie took a deep breath, she loved her daughter, she loved Kate… But did she really think the Catwoman could magically fix her life mistakes? She debated it. She didn’t have much going for herself these days. If Catwoman could convince Kate to go through with a wedding…

“Ok fine,” Maggie sighed, “I work for you, I will be your source, but I am not an Inside ‘man,’ Ok?”

Catwoman gave a single golf clap.

Maggie blinked for a second and looked across the coffee table Catwoman sat there in her latex catsuit. The ringing of her phone got her attention. Maggie reached into her purse and pulled out her phone, it was Jamie’s number. Maggie noted the time and answered.

“HI MOMMY!” Jamie’s voice called.

“Hay baby,” Maggie said, “Isn’t it past your bed time?”

“Mommy,” Jamie said, “We are hours behind east coast time. I wanted to call before bed because I miss you and Mama Kate. I love being home visiting dad, but I miss Gotham.”

“We miss you too honey,” Maggie said.

“Are you out with Kate having ‘adult fun’ again?” Jamie asked.

“Honey,” Maggie said, “You know we love you, but somethings aren’t for kids. No matter how mature you are for your age. Eventually you will learn.”

“Hay, here is daddy,” Jamie said.

“Princess…” the familiar voice said before sighing, “Hello Margaret.”

“Hello James,” Maggie said calmly.

“This is the second call tonight,” James noted, “You working or having ‘adult fun’ with Kate?”

“It’s not like you didn’t enjoy any adult fun we could have when Jamie was at your parents place,” Maggie said.

“Fair enough,” James said calmly.

“I just hope it’s a long time before she realizes the ‘staff pizza parties’ only happen when a costume maniac is on a crime spree,” Maggie said.

“Totally agree on that,” James said.

“She hasn’t been eating only junk food,” Maggie said, “Has she?”

“No, but since you mention it, I will be getting a puppy and giving her a couple of cappuccinos before putting her on the plane back to Gotham,” James said.

“Not funny,” Maggie said.

“Princess, tell mommy what you had for dinner,” James handed the phone to Jamie.

“Dad made beef and broccoli,” Jaime said, “I was only slightly charred.”

Maggie heard her ex-husband in the background.

“Dad taught me how to make his corn beef and pastrami sandwich today,” Jamie was excited, “I can’t wait to make one for you to take to work for lunch!”

“Thanks Honey,” Maggie said with a strained grin.

“Ok Mommy,” Jamie said, “Dad said it’s time to brush my teeth and get to bed. I love you, mommy! Tell Kate I love her too.”

“Love you honey,” Maggie waited for the phone disconnect, “My daughter. Having a sex life and kids is hard enough when it’s vanilla, having a kinky lesbian sex life without traumatizing them is a real pain.”

“Is that why you two love it when I tie you two up?” Catwoman asked, “Lock the pair of you in a couple rubber sleep sack?”

“Fuck yeah Selina,” Maggie said, “In fact I think you need to kidnap this latex cop again.”

Maggie Sawyer ran her hands over the blue and black rubber police themed catsuit as she stood up in her heels. Catwoman stood up as well and went around the coffee table. The pair met in a passionate kiss.

“We have some more heroes to bring around to my line of thinking,” Catwoman said breaking the kiss, “I am sure your bride would love to put on a show for them with you.”

“Meow Mistress,” Maggie purred.

She was so glad Selina had recruited her to be her inside woman in GCPD and introduced her to Kate, Latex, BDSM and her kittens.
