Lyanna Targaryen

The Dowager Queen, Lyanna Targaryen (Formerly Stark) is in her chambers.

You knock on the door gently, with Margaery behind you and Ser Arthur Dayne as your guard. “Mother, it’s me, Jon.”

Margaery tilts her head slightly when you say your other name, but you whisper that you’ll explain later.

“Jon? Come in”

“Mother, I have someone who wants to meet you” you say, entering the room.

“Who is it, Jon?” Lyanna Targaryen is still beautiful, despite being an older woman.

“My soon to be wife, Margaery Tyrell.”

Your mother gasps, but then smiles shortly after. “You’re growing up, Jon! Bring her here!”

You take Margaery’s Hand and lead her into your mother’s room.

Lyanna smiles at Margaery and steps closer, then hugs your soon to be wife “So you’re the one that’s taken Jon’s heart, Margaery?”

“I have, Lady Lyanna” Margaery replies, somewhat unsure of your mother.

“Please, call me Lyanna! I’m going to be your Mother-In-Law, am I not?”

“I suppose so, Lyanna. If you don’t mind me asking, why do you call Jaehaerys Jon?”

“Well, I wanted to call him Jon, back when he was born, but my husband Rhaegar decided it wasn’t a very Targaryen-Like name, so we settled on Jaehaerys instead. I still call him Jon in private, though. Not many people know that.”

“Oh! Can I call you Jon?” Margaery asks you

“Sure” you reply, smiling. “Are you coming to the feast tonight, Mother?”

“I might. When’s the wedding?”

“Well...” you dart your eyes to Margaery “Tomorrow”

“Tomorrow?! Jon, I need time to prepare!” She frantically starts to sort out her things

“We’ll leave you to your... preparations” you take Margaery back out “And that’s why I regret telling her myself. I’d have gotten Tywin to do it.”

“I think he’d have refused. I need to prepare myself, though, Jon. I’ll see you tomorrow, of course.”

“Why not tonight?” You cock your head to the side

“Because I have a lot to prepare!”

“Alright! Alright! I need to talk to Tywin anyway. See you on our wedding, my love”
