Chapter 3 by merkros merkros

How to deal with the intruding Knight...

Lure him to the water's edge

A devious thought crosses your mind. Knights raiding a dragon's lair are always on edge. It would likely be pretty easy to lure him over and with the murky waters of the moat. Carefully, you sink into the water until you hit the bottom and lift your tail out before splashing it down hard against the water's surface. Now it's only a matter to wait and hope that he takes the bait.

Several tense moments pass in silence until you feel the faint vibrations in the water as the heavily armoured man stomps to the water side. His head pokes out from over the shoreline and his large sword comes into view. It's a little hard to see even for your eyes, but his human eyes don't stand a chance. Tensing up your body, you quickly lunge out of the water.

He swings his blade down in an attempt to catch you, but too slow! It wooshes through the water just above the back of your neck and you grab out at his calf. Your teeth dig into the plated legging and the faint hint of blood teases your tongue. It's not a deep bite, but you're not trying to bleed him anyway. Pushing back off the shore, you try to drag him into the water. Your entire weight pulling at his leg.

The knight gasps and tries to keep his footing, but fails and falls backwards. That opening is all you need to slip back into the water and dragging the heavy body along. Once in the water, he was doomed. The weight of his armor drags him to the bottom of the moat. You watch him sink into the brown murk before climbing out of the water. Once the bubbles stop, you give a satisfied snort. These knights can be so silly. For a brief moment, you wonder if his armour may have been magic, but regardless. It's at the bottom of the moat now and it was heavy. You don't want to bother taking the time to drag it up.

Without his knightly master, his stallion is easily dispatched. Of course it's a stallion. Only the most "brave" and "Noble" knights in the land need to ride a stallion with a cock bigger than theirs to compensate for their ineptitude. You suspect the number of knights who ride mares is much smaller. Oh well...

You rummage through the dead knight's belongings and find a bunch of uninteresting baubles and a few gold coins. He must have spent most of his gold on whores in the nearest city before heading out.

Now that that is handled. Perhaps it is time to go back to righting your ways and becoming a good and noble dragon. Perhaps one that is more good and more noble than the Knights that keep coming to kill you. You already have one advantage. You certainly don't need a stallion to compensate for your manhood...er...dragonhood.

What's next?
