Lunch Ruined (Slight changes)

Bella had been stressed all week, trying to finish up her applications for college. As a senior in high school, she knew the importance of getting everything done in a timely manner. So, during lunch, she decided to work on her applications while also trying to catch up with her friends.

She sat at her usual spot in the dining hall, her laptop open in front of her, and her friends chatting away. However, the peace and quiet of her lunch period were short-lived as a group of annoying boys sat down at the table next to them.

Bella rolled her eyes, knowing that they were loud and obnoxious.

"Would you please quiet down! I'm in the middle of something!" Bella yelled at them

"Whatever! It's not the lunch room is only for you anyway!" One of the boys retorted back and continuing on with his conversation with his friends

She tried to ignore them and focus on her work. That is until one of the boys accidentally knocked her laptop off the table with his elbow.

Bella's heart skipped a beat as her laptop crashed to the ground. She quickly scrambled to pick it up, hoping that it wasn't damaged. But her fears were confirmed when she saw the cracked screen.

Fury burned through her as she turned to confront the boys. 'Are you kidding me? You just broke my laptop!' she yelled, her face flushed with anger.

The boys laughed, clearly not taking her seriously. Bella felt her blood boil at their lack of remorse. But before she could say anything else, something strange happened.

A loud explosion rang out in the dining hall, causing everyone to stop, screamed, and look in Bella's direction. A thick cloud of smoke surrounded her, making it hard for anyone to see what was going on.

Panicked, Bella frantically tried to wave the smoke away, but it seemed to only get thicker. And then, just as suddenly as it appeared, the smoke disappeared, leaving Bella completely exposed.

She was feeling a bit cold rather than feeling the warmth of her clothes and could feel the cold tiles beneath her bare feet and quickly realized that something was very wrong. She looked down and was shocked to see that she was, in fact, completely naked! She scanned the room, her face burning with humiliation as every student in the dining hall stared at her. It seemed that her anger had caused an explosion that had burned off all of her clothes.

Feeling mortified, Bella quickly made her way out of the dining hall, trying to hide her nakedness as best as she could. She could hear the whispers and giggles of her classmates as she made her way to the school nurse's office.

It was only then that she noticed the curious looks on the faces of her friends, who had followed her out of the dining hall. They explained to her that she had somehow gained the ability to control fire when she was angry, but she had no idea how she could have been responsible for the explosion.

Bella's mind was reeling as she tried to process what had just happened. She couldn't believe that her anger had caused her to have such a humiliating experience. But little did she know, this was only the beginning of her newfound powers, and she would have to learn to control them before they caused any more trouble.
