Lucky Boi

It actually wasn’t really apparent why you’d managed to get into the Frat. Granted, it wasn’t exactly exclusive, but most of the other guys in it were sports stars or had money. You were just an average joe through and through. Your interests were borderline common as you tended to go with the flow on interests. Your grades were average and outside of playing a left field on your high school baseball team, you had no athletic talent. Your looks were mild at best, but slightly soft and girlish in some places. At 5’11” with a narrow waist and a good complexion, you stood out from the muscle-bound jocks for sure.

The one thing that stood out was that you were exceptionally lucky, getting into a good college, being invited into a Frat. Even your tuition for the year was paid for by luck after you’d won a good chunk of change in the lottery. That said, luck had a way of turning for people…

As you sat up in bed, finished reminiscing about the lead-up to today, you thought on your class schedule. You had a fairly light Monday, one or two classes. Though, much as you’d like to stay in bed, it was important to go to class. As an undecided major, you had just selected a handful of classes, some requirements for graduating later on, others were easy-sounding courses, and one or two were classes you genuinely wanted to try. With a yawn, you hopped out of bed and prepared for the morning. A few minutes later you were out and headed to class.
