Look for a better job

The fact that Look for a better job is still there even as the other disappeared must mean something...right? Hopefully, you can find something that would actually make you more manly, and that can turn you back into a guy!

You run over to your laptop, and pull up the same employment website you found your current job. There’s not a lot for people without highly specialized training or higher education...but you do find something you’re pretty sure you can do. It’s a position at a small law office in town, as a Paralegal. You’ve got no experience in that area, but they aren’t asking for any. Just office experience, and you have that at the very least, in spades. Of course, there’s nothing particularly manly about that job, but Reading a book wasn’t necessarily feminine, was it? Perhaps the way you did things mattered more than what the thing was.

Still, that didn’t mean your search had to end there. You loosen the restrictions on your search settings, and you’re amazed to find a much better position! Namely, the exact thing you studied for, Accounting! It’s a full-time account job at an office, not as an assistant, but as a real genuine accountant! The only problem...is that you’re missing several necessary qualifications. Still...you’ve heard of people getting jobs they aren’t qualified for, faking it until they made it. Maybe you can try that?

You’re about to give up there, when you remember another option. Didn’t you have a friend who found a job through what was basically an online forum for job postings? Sure, the place wasn’t quite as above board as some other sites, but it was worth a try. You pull the website up, look around for stuff in your town, and then you see it: something very manly. Namely, someone is looking for a bodyguard. No requirements about licenses, or body type, or even gender. Still, as promising as it is in that department, it has its issues. Namely, how there is clearly an ‘under the table’ sort of job, and not a long term one.

You realize you’ve definitely Looked for a better job now, and so you pull your phone out and let the app know.

Well, you think to yourself, at least you’re not becoming more Girly, and the changes you are getting are good ones, if kind of minor. You see three new Tasks appear to replace that one: Apply for paralegal position, Apply for accounting position, and Apply for bodyguard position. A shiver runs down your spine. This app...
