Look around.

You turned from the window and looked across the quad. This was Amber Quad, located right on the edge of campus. To the North was a 3-story freshman dorm, built recently in a modern style with floor-to-ceiling windows. Most had the curtains drawn, but you could catch a glance of some people hanging out in their rooms. Some were drinking, some were just playing games or talking.
