Lobbing Mailbags Full of Valuables at the Pursuers

Texas pulled the reins to the front and wrapped them around the back of the seat, sticking them to a nail. With the road straight ahead all they had to do was keep running. She believed that what the Mayor really cared about was the safe, so the mailbags were just loot. Texas leapt into the back, taking cover behind the safe as a dingo on the right opened fire. Six shots fired, and when she heard the revolver click on empty she pushed out around the safe, grabbing up the closest mailbag. It was heavier than she expected, Texas gritting her teeth as she brought her other arm under, giving it a two-handed lift.

The dingo finished reloading and turned her revolver back to the wagon, only for her eyes to widen as a mailbag full of loot soared through the air towards her. She dropped her weapon to try and catch it, but the weight combined with the speed it was moving earned a *KER-SSPPLLAATT* as it slammed her off her horse and underneath it, the bag hitting the ground with a flattened dingo pasted underneath it.

“Grah! Git that weasel!” The rhino roared, pointing with a meaty fist as she spurred her horse to speed up.

From the left side the armadillo had moved up, the bandit standing up on their horse. She took a deep breath and leapt forwards, only to see Texas’s boot kicking through the air. Her eyes widened as she squealed and then *SLAM* she smacked right into the boot before tumbling backwards. She crashed to the ground, rolling over herself and being left dazed and groaning.

*CRASH* A horse whinnied loudly as it crashed into the armadillo on the path and tipped over itself, sending the porcupine riding it flying through the air and crashing into the dirt as well, right before the fat horse landed on top of them ass first. *SSSPPPLLAATTT* They were crushed under their own horse, while the armadillo was left trampled by hooves into paste.

Texas grinned as she looked back to see the Gecko making a move, riding up at the back. Texas opened the closest mail bag and snagged out some of the contraband. A weighty cigar case clutched in her fist as she turned and lobbed. The Gecko saw it coming, eyes moving inwards to follow as it went straight for its skull. With a *THUNK* it slammed it square in the middle and the Gecko slumped back in his seat, tongue slapping out of his mouth as his horse rode off to the side, carrying his limp form. “Had enough?” Texas mocked as she turned to the back with a grin.

*THUD* The wagon bowed down as she looked to the side to see the Rhino had leapt up onto the wagon. She huffed, cricking her neck and smacking a meaty fist into her palm. “I don’t think so. I’m just getting started,” she growled, lowering her head and glaring at Texas.

Behind the Rhino, Texas saw Vivian aiming her six shooter and smiling. The Mayor was still riding her horse and took aim, but the Rhino was currently in between the two of them. Texas was conscious that the Rhino was both her body shield, and the biggest threat yet. She’d have a hard time taking out the Mayor with the Rhino hounding her, but if she took the Rhino out first, then she’d risk getting herself shot. She needed to prioritise one of them, but which?
