Liv surrenders and the Bravos flee

Liv quickly took in the situation.

It was hopeless.

With most of the guards incapacitated or dead, the Lizardfolk easily outnumbered their remaining ****. There was some small chance that her remaining friends would be able to take them all on, but Liv recognized that in a moment she would be a hostage for the Lizardfolk, and she knew that Fuu and Robin would readily sacrifice anything if it meant saving Liv, and Emmaline would more than likely give herself up along with them. So she only had one option.

"Run! Go-- across the river, get out of here, you guys!" She yelled, Liv slid another round smoothly into her rifle, practiced fluid motions allowing her to get off on last, **** shot at one of the Lizardfolk that remained focused on her allies before one of the monsters tackled her from the side, knocking the weapon clean from her grip to skitter under one of the carts.

"Oh, now don't you start saying stuff like that!" Robin furrowed her brow. She lunged forward, stabbing one of the Lizardfolk through his chest, but his allies struck back, spears nearly impaling her if she weren't so quick to dodge. "Just... give us a second to deal with these guys!"

Fuu hesitated-- she couldn't just abandon a friend in need. As she was about to rush in, however, a tired Emmaline placed a hand on her shoulder, holding her back. Fuu looked up at her friend, panting and sweating from the difficult battle, cuts across her exposed skin. Robin was in slightly better condition, and she knew she'd stay till the end to save her friends, but they were really in no condition to keep going.

"We'll come back for you! I promise! Just try to hold on!" Fuu yelled.

"What are you saying?!" Robin turned on her friend, outraged, "Liv doesn't have a chance, we have to--"

Robin cut off as Fuu placed a hand on her shoulder. Fuu's eyes glowed golden as she channeled divine power into Robin, soothing and calming the younger girl. Robin blinked at her in a daze, stumbling a little uneasy on her feet, as Emmaline caught her.

Emmaline gave Fuu a pained look as the two turned, quickly darting across the river, using their remarkable agility to dart from log to log, and dragging the semi-cooperative Robin with them.
