Lina, the Librarian.

Her long red hair trailed behind her as she ran, ancient and irreplaceable books filling her thin arms. The tiny elf woman hurried through a burning library, **** to save her cargo of precious tomes. She had been a scholar, studying the ancient history of her people and studying the geneology of her venerable people. To Lina, their tradition and history was the most important treasure they had, and she was determined to protect it.

She had every right to be proud; the still young 300 year old able to trace her lineage back to Elnon: the founder of the Elves. Her heritage was a pure, unbroken chain of proud elven thinkers, and she continued their tradition. Most importantly however Lina was writing a history of her people, and so great was her passion for this pursuit that when the war came, she hardly noticed.

That is, until a flaming catapult ball had crashed through the ceiling. Now Lina was running, because a new thought had occurred to her. If she didn't get out now, all that history might end!
