Lillian considered different possibilities to get the rod. She could try to sneak her way in to the Koster's estate, which she thought would be a good idea because it would be difficult to track her down, hence she wouldn't have complices. Or she could find one of the Koster's customers and persuade him to pay a visit to Koster, and take her with him of course, but finding someone like that on a short notice would be difficult. Then in again if she couldn't think of nothing else, she could just walk right in to the mansion and try to bluff her way to the rod.
