Lieutenant Hammer

Lieutenant Hammer pulled his hover-craft up in front of the address Captain Depardieu had given him. It was in one of the seedier areas of town, and the two-story house was somewhat run down itself. Climbing the three steps to the front door, he heard a woman's loud scream. The door was unlocked so he charged inside, stopping in the cluttered living room to look around, trying to determine where the scream came from.

She screamed again. From the basement. Lieutenant Hammer ran down the stairs but half-way to the bottom he stopped and stood there frozen, observing the scene in front of him.
