Let yourself in

The note read, "The door is open, come in, lock the door behind you and take a seat ;)"

I walked inside, removed my shoes and locked the heavy front door behind me. The doorway opened into a large living room, outfitted with very nice leather furniture, from which an amrchair had been drawn to the center of the room. I sat down in it and waited patiently for my host.

From down the hallway, I heard Holly yell, "Are you ready darling?"

"Whenever you are dear." I said, taking my coat off and waiting with an eager smile. I heard the clicking of heels on the hardwood as she walked towards me.
